Our dedicated Handbag Repairs team offers a wide range of repairs and restoration services to handbags, below is a list of some of the services we offer, lead times on repairs do vary due to a number

of factors, current workshop lead times, and ordering of service parts, we do hold a lot of most used service parts in stock but some are special orders, we do have an approximate lead time guide at the bottom of our page this is for guidance only and is not fixed times, we work on each item, in turn, making sure the item is repaired and completed to the best of our ability.

Quotation

Use our online contact form to give as much information as possible with regards to the work you are looking to have undertaken, our admin team if unsure will ask a few questions and request a few photos just to confirm the works you are looking to have undertaken. Upon confirmation we will provide you a quote for repairs, all quotes include a collection and delivery service using My Hermes collection and delivery service.

How it works

Once you have accepted the quote we will ask you to supply your collection address details and ask which day you would like your collection, once this information has been provided we will be able to provide you with a collection label to attach to your parcel.

Delivery & Collection

My Hermes offers a next-day collection service, they are able to collect your parcel from your home or place of work, My Hermes does not offer timed collection this is an all-day option, we do not have access to the collection agent to find out information regarding your collection or delivery. My Hermes also offers a drop-off option where you can use one of their drop-off shops if this is more convenient for you.

My Hermes delivery to our workshop is a 3 – 5 working day service, there is a long number located at the bottom of the label this is your tracking number, and this can be imputed to the My Hermes website where you are able to track your parcel to the workshop.

Return Delivery is the same process My Hermes will collect the next working day and will return to the customer within 3 – 5 working days, you will be emailed a tracking number from the My Hermes website with a link to your delivery, this link only becomes active once your item has been collected and located in my home network.

Updates

When your item is received in the workshop each item gets repaired in turn, the workshop does not provide us updates on each repair due to the volume of repairs they are undertaking on a daily basis, once your item is ready for return we will send you an email with confirmation that your item is ready for dispatch. With this confirmation, we request you use your postcode as your payment reference so this can be matched up with your order along with confirmation of the return address.

Payment

Payment on all our mail order repairs is via (bacs) online bank transfer, we do not accept payment over the phone and we do not use PayPal as a payment gateway, this allows your payment to be made safely without any of your details being passed out.

Before & After Pictures

Our workshops do take before and after pictures of every repair that goes into our archive we do not offer these to our clients as standard practice, these can be supplied should you request these from us, we do charge an administration for this service of £15, this covers the time it takes for the workshop to download your pictures from the archive and get them sent across to the office in the correct files to enable them to be sent on to yourself.
